! WARNING ! Possible radio interference problems

People have been observed using radios designed for R/C airplanes on the 50Mhz or 72Mhz channels at the SoccerPlex facility. This may result in radio interference with airplanes and helicopters at our flying field!

DC/RC board members are in contact with County officials to resolve this issue. Until this issue is resolved, pilots flying airplanes at our model airfield must take additional precautions.

Prior to flying your airplane, with the engine off and your transmitter off, turn ON the airplane receiver and check to see if any radio interference is present. Observe the airplane control surfaces and ensure they do not move (or jitter) for a period of 15 seconds.

IMMEDIATELY, land your model airplane or helicopter at the first sign of radio interference (or glitching) while flying. Report the problem to a DC/RC board member. Try to determine if someone is operating a 50Mhz or 72Mhz R/C Transmitter at the SoccerPlex. (Refer to www.dc-rc.org for more information on R/C channel usage.)
