DCRC has been an AMA chartered Club for over 63 years (Charted in 1951) with a current membership of over 200 members.
DCRC meets and has its flying field in Montgomery County, Maryland.
DCRC is respected across the country as a pioneer in model aviation.
DCRC offers Flight School flight training and informal flight training for club members, and free introductory flights for the public.
As a DCRC member you receive a great monthly newsletter, interesting programs at the monthly meetings, (held the third Friday of each month), a safe place to fly, and many club sponsored activities throughout the year.
The DCRC Club runs and maintains the current model field for Its members to use, as well as being involved in the planning of future flying sites for the club flyers.
