The D.C. RADIO CONTROL CLUB*

AMA Charter number 329

*club (klub) n. a group of people associated for a common purpose, usually in an organization that meets regularly: (The common purpose of the DC/RC is to have fun flying radio controlled aircraft, while advancing the state of the art of Model Aviation!)

The DC/RC has been an AMA chartered Club for over 58 years (Charted in 1953) with a current membership of over 200 members.
The DC/RC is meets and has its flying field in Montgomery County, Maryland.
The DC/RC is respected across the country as a pioneer in model aviation.
The DC/RC has a flight training program for all its members, including instructors, two club demonstrator planes with buddy-boxes, and plenty of free advice on getting started in RC.
As a member you get a great monthly newsletter, interesting programs at the monthly meetings, (held the third Friday of each month), a safe place to fly, and many club sponsored activities (e.g.; Oktoberfest) throughout the year.
The DC/RC Club runs and maintains the current model field for Its members to use, as well as being involved in the planning of future flying sites for the club flyers.
